need help finding 86 350x front fork bushing

I need help finding a set of front for bushings for my 86 350x. I'm rebuilding the forks as completely as I can internally but I'm having trouble finding these 2 bushings the one I need is number 11 in the microfiche Part 51415-MA6-003. Honda says there no longer in stock I'm hoping that someone else knows where to find some. I'm not even sure there wore out there completly gray if that means anything. I just figured if everything else was worn they would be to. Thanks

Are you figuring that the grey color is the Teflon surface?

If so the manual says you are in good shape.

No prob, easy deal . . You can buy those and many other discontinued parts from the site below . . The prices are in GBP . . The bushings are $15.00 USD each . . You can also find some parts on Ebay.

I would replace them, they are showing though, unless its the camera playing tricks and your not showing the side where the DU slide metal bushing is over it.

PM me if you want the correct bushings for the best price or need more info.

The bushing on the left side.

If the forks were not taken apart correctly it will jump over the DU piston bushing on the right side and pulls up the PTFE coating once the edges are pull up from wear or disassembly and you reuse them the coating will wear off quickly, sometimes the coating will come off in sheets.

If your forks were together we could perform a few tests at this point there 30 year old forks with what appears to not have a known history I would replace and reset history.

Trike forks were not made to tight tolerances to begin with and they only get worst with wear.

Everytime I had forks done, they usaully didn't ask what they were for. I later found out that most of them(not naming the source that told me) just measures the seals, bushings and scrapers and orders them from parts suppliers. I think when my 85/86 atc250r forks were fully rebuilt, he said most of the wear fork parts reference back to some kind of harley forks.
