    Hard starting 84' 200X

    Do any of you fella's have an 84' 200X that is a to start? I kick this thing alot, it's a real pain. I had an 86' 200X, she wasn't that hard to start. Any answers would be appreciated.

    Mine is a little if it's been sitting for a while. But if it has been ran within a few days starts fairly easy. The choke is real touchy though.

    I trust that your air cleaner and air intake are flowing free from obstruction and you have gas in your float bowl. If so, try this. Turn choke off, hold throttle wide open for one kick. If it doesn't start on that kick then try again with zero to 1/4 throttle. It should start right up. If it doesn't you might want to check for a bright blue spark. If it's yellow or barely sparking you might have an electrical issue.
