    1986 350x seat stenciling

WELL I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET A 1986 350X!! THIS THING IS AWESOME.STARTS ON THE FIRST OR SECOND KICK EVERYTIME AND DOESNT SMOKE A BIT. I HAVE HAD 250R'S MY WHOLE LIFE. DONT GET ME WRONG, 250R'S STILL ROCK, BUT I CANT GET OVER THE TORQUE OF THE HONDA 350X. THIS THING PULLS THE WHEEL OFF THE GROUND EVERYTIME I STAB THE THROTTLE, (EVEN IN 5TH GEAR).I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR QUITE SOMETIME TO FIND A DECENT 350X THAT WASN'T BEAT. SO HERE SHE IS. I JUST ORDERED NEW CHEETAH TIRES 577 FOR THE REAR, AND AM WAITING FOR A POSSIBLE REPRODUCTION OF THE FRONT . THE SEAT DIDNT HAVE THE WORD ATC ON IT SO I THOUGHT ID SHARE ON HOW I DID IT. I FOUND THE FONT (SF SPORTS) ON DAFONT.COM TO BE THE CLOSET TO ORIGINAL. SO I USED MY CRAFT ROBO VINYL CUTTER TO MAKE THE DECAL FOR THE SEAT. THE TRICK IS TO PULL IT OFF WHILE THE PAINT IS STILL WET OR THE PAINT WILL STICK TO THE STENCIL AND RIP WHEN U PULL IT OFF.

ps: ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE FACTORY EMMISION DECAL AND NO PASSENGERS DECAL GOES? THANKS

Nice trike! I think you can get seat stencils from eBay for putting the correct '86 ATC logo on your seat if you want it to look more original. However your ATC logo is a definite improvement over having none on your seat. Overall nice machine and I would run those rear tires awhile yet as they look to be worn in nicely for sliding the rear around corners.

Um, he posted a picture of the paint he used. Duplicolor vinyl paint.

Looks good. That's exactly what I did with my 86 seat. Even used the same paint you did. Good but not perfect. Next time I might use some Siser Easyweed and heat transfer it on.

Even cut the fender decals on my vinyl cutter also.
