Teaching quads a lesson
Not sure if you guys follow the dollar trends but the difference is at an all time high right now sitting at $1.32 Cdn for $1.00 USD. I know if I was looking to make a big purchase I'd consider travelling a bit. Of course we get screwed buying in the US right now but that the Canadian way;-) And we'll thank you for it!

Heck I remember about 15 years ago when I lived in Michigan, going to Windsor and eating at a bar, having a couple beers, and watching curling (stupidest thing I have seen to date) and giving the waitress $25 USD for a $25 CDN bar tab and the waitress was thrilled and we didnt even give her a tip. I think the exchange rate was a out $0.60 = $1.00 CDN

I was also surprised to find prices about this same on some of my favorite things or even better than they are in the US.
I picked up a Fujifilm Instax 90 camera for $40 less sticker plus the exchange rate.
