    Unhappy locked up kickstarter

    I have a 1985 big red 250 es and have been restoring her to full original condition little by little while still having fun with her.
    always wanted one and its been going great until yesterday I tried to go up a jump and she came up backwards and rolled on me and I didn't have time to shut her off she rolled and made this grinding noise till si shut it off . I finally got her home (by pushing) and now the kickstart is not movi ng its like locked god I hope I didn't seize the motor HELP!!!!!:

    Likely, you snapped the ratchet spring or stripped the gears in the kick starter assembly. Probably have bits locking it together somehow. Time for dis assembly and inspection.
