    1985 Honda 125m How do I remove the back brakes

    I have a 1985 Honda 125m and I am trying to fix I got it running but the rear brakes are ceased and suck I took the whole assemble of the wheel bolts and everything except the housing of the brakes after the 2 big nuts but is stuck how would I get it off I sprayed penetrating oil in and out of it and nothing.

    1 - remove right side rear tire, wheel, and hub
    2 - remove both axle nuts (the big ones that are obvious)
    3 - remove the outer shell of brakes (approx 8 10mm bolts)
    4 - remove all cables that run to the brake actuator arm
    5 - remove the brake drum. This is the hard part if all is seized up and corroded. Heat and penetrating oil may be necessary. Take your time, and don't beat on things too much with a big . This can take a few days of soaking in penetrating oil.
    6 - Once the brake drum is removed, you will see the brake shoes. replace them and when you are in there pull out the actuator arm and clean everything up really well and grease everything except the shoes and drum.
