83 250r carb spitting gas into air box
So it's starts right up and runs but it's spitting gas back into the air box, is that something to be worried about or is it normal?? Most of the wheeler came to me in boxes... So idk if something in carb could be missing??? Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated!!!

Not normal in the least. Adjust your floats. That's a main reason for gas being in the airbox. Fix your float height per the manual.

I did that today, because it used to flow out the over flow tube when u shut it off, got it to stop, but maybe I gotta go a little more. I got it a .7 I believe that's were I need to be. Could possibly be a bad seat for the float needle i guess... Thanks for idea, I'll give it another look

Seat could be bad. When in doubt rebuild the whole carb.

Yep I'm thinking that may be my next route, there pretty cheap. If that don't work then maybe it's time to upgrade carbs!

How much gas is normal to be in the boot between the carb and the airbox?
