Tecate kickstart mechanism

Is the whole kick start mechanism from an 84 kxt going to fit the 86 kxt? Someone selling one is claiming they are the same, 84-87. I am just about ready to get into these motors and unfamiliar with them. Anyone wanting to sell an 86 kick start internal assembly, the shaft, spring, gear, washers, exc.Search feature isn't working for me.

Thanks need4speed, I sure do appreciate your help. When it works I will add this verification to your T3 swap thread or any information I obtain about the mechanisims. I'm hopeful i can find a deal on the whole assembly since there is such a wide range of years. Thanks again
