    what causes gas to leak out of the carb and into the air filter?

    on my 84 big red, i have gas pouring out of the carb into the airbox. Why is this?

    Sounds like your floats are sticking. Try tapping on the float bowl with the back of a screw driver. Could be something blocking the needle and seat. Or it needs adjusted to shut the fuel off sooner. Hope that helps.

    Check your float adjustment as well as needle seat.
