It counts the search engine spiders and web bots also as guests. If you ever click the whos online page to actually see who is really online, it shows you which ones are registered as bots or not. With 1M+ posts on the board now, and google and others able to view anywhere up to 10 pages per second, doesn't take long to rack up those "visitor" guest amounts. Not saying all of those were computers, but by far and large, I would say so.
The last record is when I sent a PM to everyone on the message board at one time, and everyone tried to login at once to read them. We got kicked off of the previous webhost for that. I guess that many people trying to load things at one time was not kind to their system.
