honda 200x headlight won't work

Hi,

I recently purchased an 84, 200x. All is in working order with the exception of the front headlight. The bulb it has is brand new and I even attempted swapping bulbs with a friend. Not sure what else I should try in order to fix my problem. I don't know much about electricity so if anyone can give me some advice as how to walk through and test wires I would greatly appreciate it.

I know this is an old thread, but ill reply anyway, lol.

Does the tail light work ? If Not then you prob need to replace your Lighting Coil.
If tail light does work then remove your gas tank and check the wiring harness.
