Yes they are 2 stroke. They are the dirt bike that came before the Cr models.

Well its a 79 i could be a MR or CR im pretty sure.. They are both 2 stroke.. We have 2 76 MT250's.. on/off road dirt bikes.. thier pretty neat.. They dont run the best. nothing like new bikes but they will still get up and go.. I belive your should have reeds unlike mine. MR's where the newer MT's.. they quit making Mts in 76.. and went to MR's..
