    atc 110 cylinder fins broken

Is it possible to weld the fins back on my 110? If so what type of welder should I use?

I have read in some past Threads that racers used to add additional fins welded on to keep the temps down so it can be done, I would think that finding a used 110 cylinder may be easier. Or get a 125 cylinder and new piston (That is what I did, just rejet and go)

1983 ATC 185s 200 jug bored .20 9.5:1 Naumura piston. Fast as ass when its not stretching the drive chain or stripping hubs.
1986 ATC 250ES. *Total garbage trying to sell it*
1983 YTM 200E. Runs good, forks are super bent but aside from that its mint.
1984 YTM 200L. Barn find, everything is mint except the bottom end is bad... *waiting on a new engine*

We weld cylinder fins on a regular basis; it takes a TIG welder, ours is a 250amp Miller unit. As already suggested; if you’ve got too many, sometimes it’s better to find another cylinder. Have you taken pictures to post with the problem?
