    Started the tree house

Well, more of a deck in the sky, set up at 50 yrd line on my range. Will be good to shoot from, also adding a climbing wall and zip line for niece/nephews. I don't plan to add an enclosure, will just pop a tent up there to camp in or play in when they are up. Got 3 of the 5 poles in today. Deck will be 16x16 or so.

    Poles are 25-30 ft

To wide for trail, so used the arch

3 done, gonna be high for some 7 yr olds. Wish I had it when I was that age

Some mine, some the prior owner. Just keep popping stones and adding them

Some bigger than others, this one is close to 6 ton, little crawler gave all it had to move it

Wall repair and adding stairs, still need one more. Waiting to trip over perfect rock

7 ft, boulder footing. Should be solid enough for a deck once tied together. If I decide to use one end as a launch platform for zip line, I will cable that post also

    Wife saw me doing this...

( I have angle iron on ram but still a pita)

    Bought me this.

42 ft operating height, 32 ft extension. Honda power. Great little portable unit.

I think I will try jumping out of a plane next, maybe get a jet?

Whew! Thanks for buying the man lift; thought I was looking at a Mexican construction picture of a worker standing on forks ;-) Then I realized you were wearing boots. That's going to be quite the tree stan.........errrr, tree house.

    Lol^
    Lift is safer, tho slower.
Prob would make a great stand, for a family of 10!

I looked long and hard for lifts,

I considered a 4x4 self driven jlg or genie lift and scissor 4x4 but for the height I wanted, they ran 15k-17k lbs. Too much for me to trailer.

Settled on trailer model . I just move it around with the bucket on the deere.

This is a 2005 with manual outriggers. That makes it a bit slower but a snap to fix. No leveling computer stuff, boards etc. just switches and relays.

Bulletproof Honda motor and easy hydraulic runs except for the in-boom run. Also the straight stick is relatively quick compared to some of the articulated / computer ones.

Not to say articulated are bad. I just couldn't justify letting one sit for all but 10 hrs/yr and then have an issue I can't fix to boot.

This was very clean and cheap for what it is.

Sounds like the perfect rig. Bet your wife had something to do with the decision to buy;-) Love the comment about waiting to trip over the right rock to finish your step; cracked me up.
