Restoration Project : "Export" model '86 ATC 250R!

    Hi all,

I just picked up a project '86 250R that was sold locally here (Qatar) back in the days, so its a export model, Its missing quite a few bits and pieces, and I will be scavenging them very soon. The good thing is that I paid a very good price for it. I was surprised when I saw that it was built on 2/86, so it must be one of the last '86s that came off the assembly line for that year, actually I never saw a ATC that was built on the same model year, but what do I know!

I already have a nice '85 250R and its super cool to own the best two years of it!

To begin with, here is a list of all the missing pieces that I'm looking for, if anyone got any of them and willing to sell please let me know :

1- All the plastics except the shrouds.
2- Engine top end. (jug, piston, head, hardware .. etc)
    3- carb
4- rear brake master and slave.
    5- front brake hose.
    6- Tail light.
    7- CDI ignition module.
    8- Kill/headlight switch.
    9- Header pipe.
10 - transmission left side case.

In this thread I'll try to document my build, so keep around!

That could be even more rare than it sounds.

Looks like mine did! cant wait to see it come together. most of the plastic is available through maijer if you want to go that route. the top ends pop up on ebay pretty frequently. the rear brakes are going to cost$$ good luck!
