I have a complete 85 X with a crapply swapped in 2nd gen X motor. When they did the swap they butched the frame, so I was wondering if the swingare, front forks and etc would fit a 86 frame with little/no mods?

The triple will fit but you will need the grind the steering stop off of the frame. The swinger will also swap but you will need to make a chain tensioner. I did mine with rear caliper bracket, 10mm bolt and a skate wheel. Not hard at all, just have to figure it out.

Shortly after I took this pic I went up on the sprocket size and shifted the tensioner towards the front sprocket.
