Was hoping someone could please tell me what year pullstarts fit an '85 70?-But what are the options for a missing pullstart? Isnt there a spacer sold now to convert to the earlier style housing?-or am I wrong? Those are a little easier to find & more plentiful compared to an 85-right?

TRX 70 pullstart is different for sure. Is it just the first couple years (73-74) that were different on the ATCs? Are 78-85 the same then?

81-85 are the same recoil but with the dratv spacer the 78-80 recoil can be used on the 81-85 motor .
Theirs also a kit with a special Adapter using a trx90 recoil .

Thank you again Mike for clearing that up.
I did see those TRX90 ones mentioned-I thought i read it was only for the chinese motors?- so they work for the original motors too?(with that adapter)
