    200m tank on 250es?

    hey guys the bottom corner of the gas tank on my 86 250 is rusted pretty bad... i have the chance to get a good tank from a 200M, wondering if it will fit on a 250es?

    no one has tried this? they look pretty similar in pictures. it is an hour drive each way is the only reason i haven't just compared them in person.

    No . It wont fit . Take the one you have to a radiator shop and get a price to fix it .

    They also make plastic tanks for the 250 if you want a forever fix. Put decals on them and they don't look too bad.
    Please help those who cannot help themselves.

    Some last years to decades, some fall right off. Either way, they look great for a long time, beats the heck out of a plain ,big, red, tank.
    Please help those who cannot help themselves.

    ahh thats too bad, so basically only a big red 250 tank will work? mines in rough shape, multiple dents and rusted bad on the bottom corners.. very hard to find a tank around here, wish i knew how to do metal brazing
