ISO 250es choke lever

Ok so I am looking for the little lever on the kill/light switch I have a good switch but no choke lever. if anyone has that lever and spring or know of anyone that does or a non working switch with one on it. Thanks

Hi , they are on ebay new from time to time...if you have an 85 that's the only year lever that will work...86 ' 87 and 88 on up are the same . Good luck .

I have a broken one too.
Lever snapped because the choke cylinder was stuck.
About 2 weeks of soaking with penetrant, vibration, push pull, gently pry etc etc and I finally got the choke plunger to move.
Be VERY careful in trying to pull that loose.
Very delicate tabs hold it to the cable.
I had one so bad and nothing to lose, so I almost boiled it in vinegar and water...about 200 degrees
and it worked and didn't seem to hurt anything.

I just disconnected the cable and let it hang free so I could pull it
out
to choke....for now.

"for now" by definition on the farm is 7 years, btw.

Ya it looks like I'm going to have to buy a whole new switch or one of those little ones that go directly on the carb

I didn;t know there even was such a thing.
I might like one or 2 too.

May be easy to make one (oem type) out of wood or cheap aluminum can..oops...bottle opener.
They are close to the same shape and easily ground and drilled.
