    85 200x gearing

    alright im wondering what a good gearing would be for my brothers 200x he's got 21" paddle tires and the wheeler boggs out in deep sand. hes about 260 what sprockets should he run?

    1985 200x x2
    1982 185s x2

    He's awful big to be riding a 200x in the sand with paddles! No offense to him. If he's going to insist on doing it, he should go down a couple of teeth on the front and maybe up 5 or 6 on the rear. Just my opinion. These may or may not be close. He may just have to get a machine with more power. People with more duning experience than me may have different opinions.

    Try 11/42 or 11/44

    Any deeper and top speed will really suffer.

    Also, downshift! Rev that engine it's made for it!

    thanks! and we know he needs a bigger machine its just impossible to find them for less than $1500. im 200lbs and it felt doggy compared to my 185s lol
