Here is my fat cat project

Just to show everyone one of the many projects Ive been working on here is a pic of my fat cat /sx250 project. I got the idea from the other person on here that converted an sx to a fat cat. The approch that I took was that I used all original factory rear end pieces, and just machined everything to fit, and nothing is welded. If need be it can be convered back to a trike...

I always wanted one of those when I was a kid, drooling over them in the Honda commercials.

I always wanted one when I was a kid too, my cousin had one but he was always getting into real trouble so my uncle sold it as a punishment....

Can you put up some more pics of it? like a good full walk around? Looks awesome!

I will post more pics shortly. I still need a couple things to finish it. If you notice, it has a Honda 300 4x4 motor in it. Therefore I still need to find a trx300 key switch, and left side handlebar control assy. Let me know if you have any. I also put a big red cam and timing chain in it, as well as a 350x carb.

Nice bike! I have made a couple of these similar but 200X based. I like that you did the conversion so that it could be changed back to a trike. Thats what I did as well with mine. One tip is to flip the forks around to get your front tire in front of the axle to help with steering geometry. Click image for larger version.

I thought there was something different between the big red and the TRX engine. Doesn't the TRX spin backwards?

The Trx motor does turn counter clockwise, is the big red a shaft drive? Not sure on that one.
