If so I might try to pack a little differently. Please let me know if your into doing some trails on 2 wheels that week.
I'll have my KTM 350EXCF there and would love to do some riding with you at Haspin. It's pretty fun blasting around on a bike for one day while at TF!

I have a question-with so many trikes in one place a lot of them would look the same and most don't require a key; has anyone accidentally rode off on the wrong trike? There has to be some funny stories here...
    Current Trikes:
    85 350x
    P3 (x2)

    Quads:
    2003 Polaris Predator 500
    1988 Yamaha Warrior
    2003 Polaris Predator 90

    Previous Trikes:
    84 Honda 110 (parts)
    85 Honda 110
    85 Honda 200x
    87 Honda 200x
    85 Honda 250sx
    KX 80 Trike conversion

I've never heard of anyone ever mis-taking anyone else's 3 wheeler at TF. Sometimes it can be confusing, but just remember - everyone's bikes always have little differences, whether it be tires, or little defects here or there, or just certain custom aspects.

Trikes have been lost, my trike once left my campsite without me, I've seen a trike lose its triker for a couple hours, and then I saw 2 grown men argue (jokingly) about who was friends with someone (the argument ended with,"Well, I found him first"), but I haven't seen anyone ride off on someone else's trike. Wouldn't suprise me though
Looking for a Bassani silencer for a 2nd gen tecate, the style with the movable mount. 1st gen will work

I once tried to convince a girlfriend that after a few drinks at a party that it was only logical that I might mistake another similarly accessorized woman for her in the dark. I vaguely recall she did not agree with my reasoning.

Awesome!!! I will do everything in my power to try and get a two wheeler out there. Switched out the mountain jets, changed the seat, repaired the pull straps and swapped shocks last night. All I need is a tank of fuel and a spot on the trailer and I'm there! I assume I don't "need" a light on the bike, right?

if you plan on any night riding you at least need something to let other riders know you're there. With a little bit of alcohol and alot of speed, a dark trail isn't the ideal place to meet someone. Most who ride a machine without a headlight will usually strap a flash light or led light somewhere on the machine or themselves.

I guess what I need to ask is do YOU ride your bike at night? I prefer not to.
My YTM has lights, so it can be my late night putt putt machine. I'm one of those weird guys that drives slower with booze in the blood.

I leave out of West Texas. Map Quest shows two options. #1 is up I44 East Option #2 is on I30 and them merge with I44

Option one looks to be almost an hour shorter than option #2, but there are a couple guys near I30 I wouldn't mind popping in on depending on the time.

Have any of you traveled both? I prefer to avoid major construction and a lot of hills, but a little scenery would be nice. Talk to me.
Hey El Camex, not sure if you've ever used "Inrix", but it is a very good driving ap that constantly alerts you of road construction, wrecks, or other reasons for traffic jams.

Just downloaded it, thanks! I checked the Google map that Feildy suggested the other day and it looks like there is a lot of construction as you get to within a couple hours of Haspin.

El Camexiacan - I usually park the two wheeler at night (mine has lights and is street legal). For whatever reason my Blood Alcohol Content always seems to rise once the sun goes down at Trikefest. It is a very strange occurrence. Will be great if we can hit some knarly trails on the bikes.

I once grabbed another girl at Trikefest (late night at the shoe tree)and started stroking her back in a most romantic way - then I looked at her and it was not my significant other. Must have very been embarrassing for her.
