84 Kawasaki Prairie 250

Hey guys, Im Dustin.New to the Forum and new to owning a three wheeler. So I picked up this 84 Kawasaki Prairie 250. (pics later) has anyone done a carb swap. the carb on it is junk.. there's a home made butterfly, doenst like to stay running when the choke is off . anyone a expert on these machines????

Don't really know much about these machines, but maybe a honda 250es carb might work or a honda 200 series carb?

I'm also trying to locate a wire harness for the same machine that you have to make a template off from. If you would lend me yours I'll make you a new harness free .

I have owned several my carb was never a problem the electric fuel pump can be a pain I ended up running a carb bowl pump and a pressure regulator to get all mine going good

It should have a fake cover where the gas tank normally is and the tank should be over the rear end
