    Lightbulb 250SX - Quest for working electric start

    In 1990 I decided my ATC 250sx was too heavy and I needed to lighten it up some, so I removed alot, if not all of the electric start components from the bike. Battery, Battery box, Solenoid, maybe some wires and other items.. I haven't taken a full inventory yet, and its been so long I don't remember what I removed.

    Well now of course I regret this action and I no longer have all the parts. I have the service manual so it should be fairly easy to identify what parts I need.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket parts? I saw a starter solenoid on Amazon for $8.

    wondering what batteries and parts others have used with good success.

    I have had good luck with the gel batteries from ebay for around 50 $
    our original 85 we bought new, 2 - 86 police specials
