    tri z shift fork placement

I split the cases on my 1985 yamaha tri z and was wanting to make sure I got the two shift forks that are on the one shat in the correct order. There is no mention in the manual which one goes on first I think I have it right just want to make sure any help would be appriciated thanks Glenn O.

I don't recall exactly how they are identified, but I recall the are not the same and I doubt they can be mixed up and still fit, or I'd have put mine in wrong. Did you try putting them in both ways? That would answer your question.

Yea it only works one way, I reassembled my tri z engine myself it was easy. If you get it wrong the fork will stick, it only works one way.
