Good info . I looked it up on partzilla and looks like a million machines used it, mainly 1995-2003 trx400 and 2001-2014 trx500 models. Reason I asked is because typically every few years or so honda changes the part number.

Based on the clamp sizes, looks like this could be a possible match too.

First option is about 1/2 the price though, so I'd try that the other =).

I might buy both some time (i'm noting them down).

Also side note... the 250sx boot is still in production, but it is a bit more. I'd think the drive shaft tube would be the same size though.

Got the new bearings in this morning. Not to bad. Put the outer races in the freezer over night and heated the bearing holder with a map gas torch for a bit. They practically dropped in. Had to beat them a bit but just barely. Now I'll be painting the swing arm and getting it attached.

All back together. That floor jack was key when it came to getting that drive shaft hooked back up. I really needed to jack up the swing arm high. Basically level. Then my 7 year old son helped me by getting the left side in first. The we swung the swing arm to the right which afforded us just a little bit more room so I could push the driveshaft back on the spring. Had to slightly manipulate the axle to get the splines lined up. When it lined up it snap right back. With a little shake of the swing arm it set all the way to the collar. Then moved around the other side and put he pivot bolt in. Lubed the hell out of everything.

Then it was just a matter of hooking up brake cables and vent lines. Good to go. Very manageable.

Nice work, I spy a 250es in the background too =).

I noticed the new brake adjuster, half wondering if it came from ebay, if it did it was probably from me.

Next thing you need to do is see if the front tire is rubbing the lower tubes . It may not be touching when standing still, but it looks awful wide . To wide a tire will rub all the way thru the tubes over time . Just FYI

Hey Chop.....Checked out that clearance. It's tight but it doesn't appear to be rubbing. I'd like to put a narrower tire on there eventually.
    Any suggestions?

That tire is to wide , and it is rubbing when you ride . I have a thread on the subject with pics , and there is a thread on a tire wheel swap using the stock front end .
