i just got an 83? 250r. that thing run like a bat out of hell , the only problem is that i can't stop yet. i have to work on the brakes. probably have to rebuild or replace, which ever is cheaper. it's a whole new world compared to the 250sx
i have some odd work to do to it but it's not bad for $300. it came with a bunch of extra parts. luckily it came with a shop manual so the work will be pretty easy.

i have a mint gas tank if your interested. i am parting a complete bike. my brakes froze up too. not sure whats up with them either. but you might want them for parts or rebuild too. just ask if you need anything thanks mike
