Early Atc 200R ifo needed please..

Does anyone here have any information on early aircooled 200R kits that were available back in the day? I have asked before and didn't get anything. I have one, not sure what to do. It has RPM 200 engravings on it, as well as 83 200R kit under the cylinder.. Thank you in advance for any info you you may have..

I know RPM was a motor builder back in the day located in Ohio. In 82 DirtWheels did a write up called "Radical Racer" on one of their 250R factory machines (see link). I didn't know they made a 200 kit for the air cooled R. It makes sense, though, because I know Kawasaki was deboring Tecates to make them 200 cc. You've got a rare item for sure. Do you have piston for it? Post some pictures.

RPM was a fantastic engine builder. They were known for popularizing turbo cranks. Post up some pictures when you get a chance.

To be honest, Im not sure how many more projects I can take on now..I have had this thing for a while trying, to figure out what it was and what to do with it. I just have the complete engine and an 83 frame triples and forks.Th e engine is an 83 as well. I have never seen another, so I figured the experts here would have to know something. I have had people offer to buy it for about the price of a non running motor. I am certain this thing will run, the piston and bore are in very nice shape. The piston rings are much different than any other R I have ever seen. It has some port work done too. I guess I need to know if its worth starting another restoration project lol, because that's what its going to turn into.

Post some pictures, let's make sure it is a stock cylinder modded to 200cc by RPM and not a Cammex 200cc cylinder modified by RPM.

    .
It's not to hard to determine if it's a CAMMEX cylinder because it won't have any fins and it will say CAMMEX on it.

If it is a air cooled Cammex (very early model, before the LQ came out) PM Keith Salyer on this forum, we worked and raced for Cammex at that time.

Its definitely a Honda cylinder, no doubts there. I will post some pics as soon as I can. I was also curious as to what it would be worth? I might just sell the thing. Thank you for the replies..
