    Kentucky

    hay there.
just re-awakened my 3WW account after joining from the Wildcats state in 2016 so to help myself resurrect my 3-legged iron horse.

Had hoped someone had a good pair of front shock springs and hydraulic dampers back then for the ol' gal, but went ahead and just cleaned 'em up good and slather-schlaqued the heck out of the springs with a lot of fresh grease...

Hello and welcome! I'm guessing there hard to find for anyone and no one here has them. Don't stop here, though, keep looking. Patience always pays. Good luck

    Fellow Kentucky rider, awesome.
Hope you find those parts. Start looking up some salvage/junk yards of bikes. Theres one near me in Yosimite. I believe its call MCdonalds ATV repair. Hes got a huge graveyard of different bikes. Doubt he has that specific stuff, but it wont hurt to ask. Look up and down Ebay and Craigslist. Never know when you will find the part or a cheap donor trike.

    Hellooo again 3WW !

Good time for a resurrection of my 3WW acct and more importantly my hardtailer... ..Last time I rode the ironhorse, hauled it to "Turkey Bay", a 100 square-mile offroading park at the western end of Kentucky in the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area. After several hours of good fun, while going up short hills, Red began struggling to make it to the top. On one short (but steep) hill encounter, it lost the climb right near the top. I turned the handlebar all the way as it began going backwards down the slope and then stepped off it to the uphill side and wrestled it around so I could coast it back to the bottom of the short slope.
At that time, my friends arrived on their 1000cc Razor SxS, so we roped Red for a tow to the top where we then looked it over to see why it had lost its climbing ability...

Discovered that a previous owner had stripped the splines of the left wheel hub and then not only welded the hub to the axle but also cross-drilled both the hub and the axle and installed a bolt and nut to work with the welded-on hub.

Riding Turkey Bay for several hours had broken the weld and then the added-on bolt, so the axle was spinning within the left wheel hub and I was (at some point) climbing encountered hills with only the right wheel being driven...
The sun was getting low on the horizon, so we took the most direct route back to the parking lot, with me limping Red back to the haul-home trailer.

I replaced the bolt and nut a couple times since then for flats riding and branch cleanup hauling to a nearby brush pile, but am now attempting to do a proper repair with a replacement axle and relevant parts...
Going to see if McDonald's ATV repair business in "Yosimite" is still operating and look anywhere else anyone here shares with me to look for a good used replacement axle
