    1984 Honda 200m

    Hello all,

    So I just picked up a 1984 Honda 200m. Nice clean machine. Has anyone had to replace the oil seal inside the recoil starter behind the starter pulley? I noticed there was an amount of creamy thick oil on the rope when starting. I removed the recoil assembly and found quite a bit more. I cleaned it up and ran it. I noticed a slight amount later in the day after I removed the recoil assembly again. Has anyone else seen this before? Just hoping its a seal and no other worn parts. Seal is actually available. Thanks for the feedback in advance.

    I haven't had to but that does not mean I won't. It's probably just the seal.
