    Rear gear from a shaft yam200 on a 225 ?

    I Know it's possible to put the gear from a 225 on a 200 but can we Take the gear from a 200 and put It on a 225 ? I want my 225 on tire 25" and change the ratio gear on the same Time. Some one havé done this befor? I read a lot but find nothin on this subject.

    Shouldn't need to switch the diff for a little bit bigger tire. To my understanding. The 225 has a 15% higher diff.
    As I understand though you need the 200 bearing carrier and main gear bolted into the 225 diff.
    If you put the 225 on a 200 you need to change a nut on pinion shaft.

    I have 25 Inch tires on my 225DR with the stock rear diff. But if you just want to swap the diffs I believe it will bolt right in. I've read it before on this site.
