New to the board
Motor starts with manual pull start. When trying to start electrically, s
omething (starter gears) binds, and the engine does not turn over. It has been pulled apart before I bought it. My manual does not show a clear enough picture of the gears, friction washers ect... to insure that they are in correctly. Can anyone help?

The easiest thing might be to first check if the starter motor is good.
