For you folks who aren’t afraid to take a leap; Purchase a cylinder boring machine. You’ll never regret your investment. Give me a call, I’ll help you with the purchase & if you’re not a knucklehead I can teach you how to use it $$$$$$$$$$$.

So why don't you have a bike shop fix it up then since you don't know how to jet and don't take experts opinion?

"Wiseco pistons are the problem". That is a quote I got from a shop. So know that wouldn't help me either.

I picked up the top end yesterday. Fresh bore, new piston, had them check everything. I need to pick up head studs and I may put it together tonight.

Bumping the pilot up to a 55 (from 50) and main to a 160, for starters.

Edit: wrong pilot jets for this carb, and nothing better than slicing your hand open on the sharp edges of a fresh bore. Hone job looks real good this time. Having trouble finding head studs, hopefully NAPA will have them, didn't get there before they closed today.
