Back in 87 ,my original 84 250r had thick white vinyl tank protectors made by a company called Tri Max. I've never seen another R with them since. Any info?pics? Thinking of reproducing them for my current R. Thanks

Oh ok, I remember those they were advertised in the Dirt Wheels mags back in the 80s.They just covered the sides of the tank and had 200x,250r ect.ect. on them.

Yes, I believe so. If I remember correctly, Tri-Max also made unbreakable, plastic skidplates for many models of 3-wheelers.

Hey thanks for the responses. I kick myself in the ass for letting one of my buddies borrow my 80s Dirt Wheels 15 yrs ago,and never getting them back.lol. they were great reference for stuff like this.
