200es cdi i bought one for a 200s you think it will work ?

Hi i bought a cdi box with the round plug 6 pin for a 200s - 200m and 200x apparently they all the same for those model . I know mine is different 84 big red 200es there is something with the reverse i heard if i change my cdi with another one. But my question is.... does my wheeler will still make good fire to run with that different cdi ?

And any info you have for this would be appreciated thanks alot

Hey Rick, just came along your thread and was wondering if you had any luck with the cdi because i am in the exact same situation and ordered a 200s/200m/200x cdi for my 200es just assuming it would be fine but im second geussing if it will work now thx.

Hi Regor, older thread so rick may not respond. I did same as you and no dice on it. The old CDI still works sporadically but the one I got for a 200S wouldn't work at all. Im undecided if my issue is a reverse sensor ground issue or the CDI. If I bypass the reverse sensor it doesn't help consistently so think my CDI is the culprit. Let me know how you make out.

yes thank you i live in Canada these things arent cheap...excecpt the one i bought for 17$ and didnt work for so ya dont be dumb like me, but on the bright side i put the original one back in that didn't work and its been running fine for two weeks now i dont even understand why but im having fun while it last aha. thx for replying
