    Plug chop

What's the best way to cut the threads of the plug without braking the white part Now I know y not a lot off people actually cut the spark plugs. I have wasted 2 plugs already tried cutting with a hand saw that didn't work. Tried it with a sawsall cut around it and wiggled the threads with pliers broke the white part, tried again with a grinder on a new plug broke the white part again. Any tips what's the best way to get the threads of without braking the white part? Now I only have 4 new plugs left

No I don't need to get one them plugs are harder than I thought. Do you cut the threads or on top of the nut? From looking without cutting the plug it looks lean. How can a stock bike with stock jets at 100ft above sea level be lean? I need to cut the plug without f ing it up so I know for sure.

    I use a lathe.

Sounds like a air leak is causing the lean condition.

Can you post pic of the spark plug?

I don't even have a dremel so no lathe as well lol. Already did a pressure test and also spread half a can of carb cleaner around everywhere after I changed the reeds I didn't take a pic of the plug before I destroyed it.

Did you use the jets from the moose kit or use the original jets? Sometimes the kit are generic and don't meet oem specs. If you used the jet from the kit, switch them back to the original if possible. How does the trike run in general? What does the old plug look like from it warming up and riding around. When jetting my bikes and trikes I like to go for about a 3-5 mile ride trying not to idle too much if possible. Get back, kill it fast, check the plug. Just to make sure that I'm good across the board before I start checking individual circuits. Feel the performance, then look for it.

So WOT plug chop is showing you main jet only. stock main jet? You are using aftermarket reeds right? What size is your new main jet? New filter? Airbox lid on?

Not a big fan of aftermarket jets. Moose jets are not the same because they have the same number. Order a 132,135,138, and a 140. You should be able to find a reputable bike shop near you with some jets. Surely in Houston.

No, you have to jet richer for the reeds, they don't make it richer. I would go up 1 on the main and drop your needle clip 1, pilot should be fine where it is.
