ok so i want to get a newer rear shock for my 250r...this is a drag bike so i dont need anything real special. can i use a 450r or maybe a 400ex shock? what are some other options?

Same....new shocks are not as good as the old ones...way worse. Set it up right and forget about it.

the reason i was going to buy another is my reservoir mounts came loose and it fell down and got chewed up by the chain...and all i do is drag race with ist..it has a 12 inch extended swing arm. just want a stiff shock and saw some 450r rears going for cheap
