    350x piston ID

    I have my kids x apart, top of piston it has only thing stamped on it is 1727L
    Its a high dome forged piston and I can find any id on it. need to get new rings for it

    these are factory cast pistons. if yours looks similar, then it is stock.
    I would measure the piston skirt to ensure size, then get a wiseco 10.25:1 piston, prep it, hone the cylinder to clean it and put it back together. while you have it apart, why not work on the head? replace oil seals, do a valve job? etc..

    got a photo of the piston. looking deeper it could be a TRX350 piston or 400 piston someone put in there. will need photo of piston. wiseco makes a 350 and a 400 TRX piston that is a 1727

    Stock bore is 81mm ( 3.189" ) if you have an aftermarket manufactured piston they are normally machined to nominal millimeter sizes like 82mm - 83mm - 84mm. Need to measure bore size and also the ring thickness. Remember that new rings won't seal will or last long to cure an out of round and or excessively worn cylinder bore.
