    250r choke knob/idle adjuster

    i have a stock 86 carb, is the idle adjust supposed to seat if you turn it one way or the other far enough? i can just keep spinning mine.

    You should be able to see the choke lever raise and lower as it's turned.

    Your plastic knob may be stripped and spinning freely. The pj model carb on my cr125 conversion was like that so I took the knob off of the brass shaft and use that to adjust it. Seem to work fine like that.
