Ok guys if you buy a win cycles carb off of ebay take the carb choke flap screws out and put some lock tight on them. a few months ago my 86 125m motor locks up out of the blue so I take the motor apart and find one of these screws lodged between the valve lucky it did not damage the head. And last night the same thing just happened to my 200x that doesn't even have 3 hours on the motor rebuild.

I saw it happen back in the day,and oddlly enough there was seldom damage to the valve or seat ?? lol. Thanx or the warning!

I see this all the time , very common issue even on OEM carbs .
The back side of the screw should be peened so it can't back out .
