    needing 85-86 250r axle specs

I do not have a stock 85-86 ATC250R axle. someone who does, would you be willing to provide all axle specs for me? I am working with a vendor to possibly produce at a greater discount that current systems on the market at top quality. We are already working on the 350X ones. I will next work on actual 200X ones.

I need measurements on every detail to be honest.

thank you for assisting if this takes off and I get to become a vendor assistor will get a discount to boot.

I don't have one, but I think you may be on to something.

Reproduction would really help a bunch of people who are restoring, or just needing one.

Maybe someone can get specs up!

IMHO if somebody is serious about reproducing an exact copy that has the quality of OEM, they should pony up the cash to buy one and have it directly available to measure. In order to be correctly measured it will take tools such as a micrometer, not a tape measure. I know if I was going to invest in the tooling and manufacturing of particular axles I'd sure as heck want to have one in my hands.

I have one I would be willing to send you tomorrow. One catch, it's bent. Not sure if that is a deal breaker, BUT.....
I am swapping out another (straight) axle on my TT trike soon. Also a stock '85. Best case Ontario, that won't happen for a couple weeks. Maybe before Trikefest. Definitely before Pine Lake. Not sure about your timeline. PM me.

I'm willing to straighten the bent axle to within factory spec and send it on to Oscar if it helps the process.

85 axle is different than 86.It also only fits 85. The 86 axle fits 85-89 .

It is ok if it is bent. I just need to spec out the axle against an aftermarket one to ensure the mountings, teeth and such are all correct.
Once done I can return it. So sounds like I need to use the 86 as the model.
