Want y'all's opinion on what I should do

I have a completely original low hour, minus the front tire, 86 350x. Bad part is the motor is locked up.
I've had the thing for a year now and still haven't had time/shop space to fix it. I was thinking about throwing it on CL and seeing if maybe somebody would want to trade a less nice running X. I just hate letting it go and possibly regretting it later. A Clean original X doesn't come along very often.

Park it somewhere dry, cover it, and keep it until you can fix it. That's what I would do, but I don't have a problem with having project toys sitting around until I get to them.

I would never get rid of a trike that nice.Is the motor locked up from sitting or was some one running it when it locked up.Motors dont take up much shop space.I have three motors in my basement waiting for attention.

Keep it, too nice to sell or trade away. Motor repair work isn't that difficult and once damage has been determined parts can be located on your time schedule looking for good deals. Please answer "atc300r"s questions. Have you drained the oil and see if there's medal particles, possible cam or head damage.

    Please don't sell it.
Elgin is too close to me and my garage is already full enough I have to use the van for overflow parking...

I had already drained the oil, no particles. Po said he bought it from the owner before him who was out riding it, was idling, and it just stopped. My thought it oil pump? Went out and seized the piston. As far as I got and as much as I know.

Post a Number. Texas is close enough I might buy something else I don't have time to ride.

I wouldn't even know a ballpark of what it's worth.

Me neither. I paid $1,200 for a clean functioning Tri-Z, so a not running 350X? I know that running they bring more that a Tri-Z does, but with it locked up that's got to mean a healthy discount.

Unfortunately shipping adds a lot. If you had a buddy that could get it to Laredo with the title out of the goodness of their heart I could pay a few hundred more just for that. I would really like a suspended 4 stroke someday and my non-Honda options are limited.

I agree with others above--keep it until you have time to fix it. My 86 Tecate with a cracked frame has been sitting for nearly two years and now it is my summertime project. Just sent it out for powder coating.
