Yes, another carb jetting form the desk question In short: I have added a TRX250 recon with accelerator pump carb to my auto-x 200x build. stock 200x carb is the 24mm with 108main and 40 slow jets. The new card has stock jets for the Recon and is 27mm (bigger) and 95 main and 38 slow jest (Smaller). so the bigger carb has smaller jest, is this b/c the recon is not a performance ride? or am I missing something here? I am planning on starting with a 118 main and working my way down to tune (See very good post http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...light=200x+jet ) (Due to the 10.25:1 piston, Uni and Bassani) and keep the 40 slow as a start point, but want to get as much direction as possible before I start the process. I was just thrown off by the smaller stock jet size for the larger carb designed for larger motor (250cc vs 200cc)
EDIT: More info, seems the XR200 carb many run as an upgrade is 26mm (Bigger than stock 200x) and has stock 110/38 jets (Also bigger than stock 200x).
