Tri Z help please. power valve mod in job lot??

Hi I'm just bought my first Tri z project, got 2 job lots of Tri z bits, 3 trikes in pieces and 1 Tri z quad conversion.
PS. Im in the UK with those funny quad conversions!!

I ended up with plenty of bits but the Tri z quad conversion came with (from what I can see) 84 YZ250 Cylinder head 39X, reeds 39X and 85 YZ250 Cylinder 56A.

Can anyone tell me from these pics how much of this conversion might have been done to this engine?? I'm missing the power valve linkage bits and cover I think, is there any other bits I could or should do, it would be nice to have the power valve working.

Also the only carb I got in the lot is a Keihin, not got a clue about this carb at all, is it any good for Tri z's??

    Thanks

If you search on here there are some detailed threads on fitting a power valve cylinder.

I haven't done it so can't comment too much, but should be simple enough once you have gathered all the parts together.

The carb boot angle may be causing some issues with air box carb location and that is why K&N type filter on there, and the carb looks to be in a bit of a poor state and needs a good check over and clean should be ok if not too worn and correctly jetted.

Do you plan on cutting off all that scrap metal attached to the front of that frame?

    Good luck with it
