well after much careful consideration, i have decided smarten up, and do nothing with this, except maybe send it through the shredder..
weee that was fun.. sofar ive got extended length 39mm forks 85 250r tree waiting to be installed, suzuki ltr450 swinger to be sqeezed in, and am going to tuck the engine closer to the backbone.. to hopefully take care of the ground clearance issue.. ill start a build thread once i recover from this pesky collar bone surgery...
I miss barnett468
How do you extend fork tubes? I'm dying to see this.
Let's not forget about the turbo installation!

never heard of a fork stretcher?, i keep it in a cabinet with my board bender, smoke shifter, and skyline, for such emergencies.. lol.. excuse my poor choice of words oh wise trike gods.. LONGER forks lol and by the way, theres all sorts of lengths of 39mm fork tubes because some Harley's which are commonly chopped etc share the same size fork.. will they work in a honda.. hopefully won't have to find out as there expensive.. (at least for this po-boy) so just playing the waiting game at this point need to assemble and weigh, as it looks like im going to have custom springs made, but thankfully they're about the same price as off the shelf ones. so at this point, need to see what spring rates go with what weights, and hopefully pick out a decent spring rate. learning as i go about this custom crap, as no one seems offer any tech help here.. as far as the turbo, why not? there sitting at about 9:1 compression, not ideal for boost, but seeing as these motors are a dime a dozen, its worth fuggering around with, either way its getting a 4-1 header, why not make it a log manifold w/ turbo flange? and those chinese turbos on ebay are cheap. not the greatest, but worth a look. I think its very possible to hit 80-100hp with some proper planning.. either na or forced, the turbo idea, I think is more a visual thing than anything else, biggest problem with that is carb tuning, since were aiming for the sky, lets throw a megasquirt efi at it too.. ooh and a blinky light, anyone know how to make a blinky light module? lol well off i go, time to warm up the fork stretcher... :P
i cant decide what's creepier...that animated gif or this trike. I like the shredder idea!
My hats off to you for what you want to do. These guys can be real helpful to ones that stop by here that can handle the nay-sayers and the occasional criticism. Happy Labor Day weekend-don't work to hard on that beast.
I can't tell if you're serious anymore. 9 second quarter, git er done
well lets see. um sometimes serious, sometimes just making fun.. the fun part is trying to tell which is which..seeing as 3 wheels are not allowed on any nhra sanctioned track, (I've asked lol) I suppose that would answer the question.. next engineering quandary, linked or not rear shock, I'll report some probably useless factoid in a day or two
tech at the local dragway.. but, as long as there isn't a measurement of how far apart the wheels have to be, i have a plan lol
