    81 250R advice

Hey guys, I was just wondering. I bought a 81 250R acouple of months back complete for 50 bucks. Got a great deal on it. I am just finishing up the project. I bored it .40 over, and got it running again. I'm just about to install new bearings in the swing arm, but anyways. When I get done, what can I expect to get out of this in terms of top end. I know it depends on tire size and sprocket size. But average, what do these wheelers pull off? I was also thinking about tearing the top end back off the motor again and having it ported and the head shaved a bit. Do you think it's worth it? thanks for your info.

Well, I found a guy who will port the cylinder and shave a bit off the head for 70 bucks for the work, and another 30 bucks for shipping it round trip.

I bet if you went to a dealer you could find someone to port the head for the same price if not less and save on shipping.
