    z400 or raptor

    what is the differences in performance and power in these two. ive rode a stock z400 before and i was impressed but never rode a raptor. And also which has the top speed stock.

    I have ridden both and would buy the z400.

    I think it is slower on the top end.
    It handles lots better then the raptor.
    You are usually in 3rd gear so top speed isnt a issue most of the time.
    Drag races are only 300ft so topend still isnt an issue.

    Well both Quads have reverse,and both are fast;but there is no replacement for displacement..

    The real question is .... what kind of riding do you do?. If you're considering a Z400 .... you might want to wait a few months for the new Z450 to come out. That way A) If you are looking for a quicker and faster Z, that'll be the one or B) left over Z400's might be going for a huge price reduction in order to clear out old stock.

    Raptor! I've ridden both, and the rappy took my breath away compared to the Z...

    i will be mostly trail riding and jumpin. i think im gonna go with the z400.

    DOes anyone know anything about that new z450 thats coming out.

    well the z should be able to handle the jumps good now that they have solved the cracking frame problem the quad was plagued with.

    I just asked the guy at the Suzuki shop last week and he said he didn't know when. He also said Suzuki will start advertising it before they have any set delivery dates.
