OMG, LOL, is this guy crazy

I can't believe some people, I think he might be sitting on it for awhile. I have a guy local to me that has a 250r 86 and is looking to trade it for a mint 200s or big red or 2g's, now that would be a deal for a trade.

Dont you just love it when they coat the tires in Armorall? Just makes me want to put a horn and some blinkers on it and hit the main drag in town.

    Almost like new

I like the part when they say "Just like new", then comes the "bored to 80 over" and replaced this and replaced that. If it was like new you wouldn't have had to replace all the parts. I think there should be a law that states a standard of the words "new" or "mint" and you get your wheeler impounded if you don't use the words right, hehe.

.080 over! I didn't even know you could bore a 250R that much, it must run super cool with the water jackets being so close to the piston LOL!

I'd pay $2000 for it but not $3000.

    Progblem is

You'd pay 3000 but the reserve isn't met at that, I'm sure the reserve is close to the buy it now price of 4g's. I think it's one of those deals where the wife is telling him he has to sell it and he figures that nobody will ever buy it at that price and he can at least said he tried. hehe Maybe he's smarter than we think, or not.

I don't think it matters whether it is air or liquid cooled. Each model has different specs. Cylinder sleeves have a wall thickness only so much. Thin them too much and heat expansion would cause a catastrophe. I always see 250R quads for sale .060 over, I think thats pretty close to their last bore.??
