Question ATC vs TRX 250R brake pedal

    Hey guys,

So I'm finally throwing my 85R back together and I had purchased an ESR rear brake pedal. But then I noticed this ESR TRX version does not have the shaft welded on to it like my 85R one did. Upon checking the parts fiche, I realized this was how they were built OEM...

So, has anyone else found a way to overcome this issue? Finding a smooth shaft would be simple, but it has splines on the end which have to line up with the brake push arm that attaches to the master cylinder, so that makes things more tricky. I figured I cannot be the first one with this issue!

    Thanks in advance guys!

trx and atc brake pedals, brake linkage and master cylinders are totally different. No way you can make it work, without alot of work.

Well live and learn I suppose!

It would seem that if I could just get a proper length shaft with splines I will be all set. I will have to stop by the local machine shop and see if they can make one for me.
