i think the easiest way is to swap to a 250r or 200x front end. I know all you need to put a 250r front end on a 250sx (pretty sure same frame as the big red's) is just to replace the ball bearings in the neck with roller bearings, these are the ones i used:

I agree! you can get a whole front end used for a decent price if you can find local
